Ordering from the US

While CLS is a Canadian company, we've happily served clients across the United States since opening our doors. Nearly half of our jigs are sent to the US.

If you live in the US, the exchange rate is heavily in your favour. This is a great time to purchase our products.

Here you'll find answers to the most common questions US residents ask when ordering from us.

What are the USD prices of your products and how do I pay in USD?

All prices on our website are listed in Canadian dollars. The exchange rate between the CAD and USD changes daily, but recently, the USD has been worth approximately 25-35% more than the CAD. A simple Google search will give you up-to-date information on the exchange rate and provide you with an exchange rate calculator. The exact rate you pay is calculated at the time of checkout by PayPal or your CC company and may vary slightly from other online rates. Simply complete the checkout process on our website and the currency will automatically be converted by your payment provider (PayPal, Visa, or MC).

How do you ship to the US and how long will it take?

Our products are shipped through the postal system using Expedited parcel service. This is typically 4-8 business-day service to most parts of the US. Parcels can experience delays going through customs, but we have found this is rarely the case.

What import charges, duties or taxes will I pay on your products?

All products manufactured by CLS are supposed to be duty free under the NAFTA agreement, and all shipping labels are marked as “Duty free under NAFTA”. There may still be sales tax and import charges on our products. These sales taxes/import charges vary from state to state and we are not familiar with what they are. Please contact your local post office for more information.
